Research interests

My research centres on questions in the epistemology of medical practice, the medical body, and on messy and unruly elements of enquiry. As part of my work, I conduct ethnographic fieldwork with medical practitioners and students, and I typically develop my thoughts in interdisciplinary settings between philosophy, science, and art/culture. I draw mainly on 20th-century philosophy from historical epistemology, phenomenology, psychoanalytical theory, analytical philosophy of science and epistemology, science and technology studies, and philosophy of science in practice.

Teaching Interests

General philosophy of science, philosophy of medicine, metaphysics and epistemology of science, European philosophy from Kant, intro to philosophy, qualitative methods.
