Degrees

BA in English (Robinson College, University of Cambridge), MPhil in European, Latin American, and Comparative Literatures and Cultures (Christ鈥檚 College, University of Cambridge), PhD in English (Christ鈥檚 College, University of Cambridge)

Research interests

I write about the history of gender and sexuality in medieval Western Europe. I focus on the ways disciplines of knowledge, such as grammar, medicine, and meteorology shaped ideas about gender. As part of this work, I bring medieval sources into contact with modern and contemporary critical theory.

Teaching Interests

I teach widely across medieval literature and culture, as well as critical theory and philosophy.
