Blood, sweat and ink: sporting endeavours from Â鶹ŮÀÉ & Caius is the latest online exhibition from Â鶹ŮÀÉ Library and Archive.

With the 2024 Paris Olympics opening this Friday (July 26), the exhibition celebrates the centenary of Caian Harold Abrahams’ 100m gold medal at the 1924 Paris Olympics. It also showcases other Caian Olympians – including Hannah Snellgrove (Geology 2009), who will sail for Great Britain this summer – and a range of manuscripts, early printed books and memorabilia exploring the history of sport.

The exhibition has been on display since Thursday 14 March to coincide with the Easter Term and celebrations at the end of the academic year; it will close after this Friday but is now available online on the Library webpages.
