Â鶹ŮÀÉ Fellow has been awarded the EUROMECH Fluid Mechanics Prize for 2024.
EUROMECH, the European Mechanics Society, is an international, non-governmental, non-profit
scientific organisation.
Professor Pedley’s award citation read: “For his seminal and outstanding contributions to fluid mechanics applied to biology and medicine, and for his distinguished service and leadership for the European and international fluid mechanics community.â€
He will receive the prize at the in Aachen, Germany in September. The conference is a joint event combining the previous European Fluid Mechanics Conference and the European Turbulence Conference.
